The mission of Calvin Coolidge High School is to provide its students with the opportunity to develop the academic, social and emotional skills necessary to make a smooth transition from high school to a post-secondary educational institution.
School Vision: Calvin Coolidge Senior High School is committed to providing ?Excellence in Education? for all students. Through program design and rich learning experiences students will be provided many opportunities to achieve academic excellence where every student will reach his or her highest potential. Coolidge SHS students will graduate as lifelong learners who will make valuable contributions to society. Through the collaboration of stakeholders, every Coolidge High graduate will be well prepared for the demands of the global society and beyond.
Early College Academy (ECA) at Coolidge HS: ECA at Coolidge will provide students the opportunity to earn up to 60 transferable credits towards an Associate Degree, tuition-free, while earning their high school diploma. Students will complete rigorous academic coursework in 9th and 10th grades on the Coolidge campus and a college curriculum on a university partner campus. Trinity Washington University and DCPS are finalizing their partnership for the Early College Academy at Coolidge.
